Chinatown, Los Angeles - Chinatown is one of my favorite places in LA to photograph. It’s an architecturally unique microcosm of Los Angeles where old and new styles are constantly fighting for attention.

West Adams, Los Angeles - This photograph was taken while driving around the West Adams neighborhood of Los Angeles - most notably known for its historic Victorian mansions and Craftsman bungalows. I couldn’t tell you what this house actually looked like but I’ve now suddenly become interested in the sculptural qualities produced by fumigation tents.

Cathedral City, CA - This photograph is part of a larger body of work called Fabricating Desert, which explores a constructed reality of the natural landscape as a result of abstracting desert architecture. The series focuses on desert towns and cities in the Southwest where much of the architecture both disrupts and mimics the surrounding landscape.
