Almost Spheres by Michael Zimmerman

Almost Spheres investigates the banality of repetitively similar objects and their awkwardness to fit neatly within familiar categories of representation, form, and scale. They're not quite elevation drawings and not quite renderings of things we know. These fuzzy, three-dimensional objects are stuck in two-dimensional space and they float on the page autonomously, though their groomed features suggest some sort of ground to sit upon. Some seem playful and others indifferent. Some are well groomed and others unkempt.
