FX Beauties Hand Mirrors by Christine Bjerke

The series of FX Beauties handheld mirrors are exploring the Japanese historical female mirrors of Edo Tokyo and the contemporary mirrors of technological devices. The merging of the past and the present depicts how a majority of the five million female currency traders of the FX Beauties are rooted both in traditions while embodying the future. Each mirror enables different ways of relating it to the person being reflected as well as the surrounding space.
