kyong kim is an artist and architect born in south korea. her work ranges in scale from a 12x12 pixel gif to a 12,000 square meter building. her work engages with industrial forms and existing symbols which she playfully dismantles and misuses. her current interests include: precisely designed objects with ambiguous functions, handmade readymade, and design failure. she holds a master of architecture degree from graduate school of architecture, planning, and preservation at columbia university. she currently lives and works in new york city.
