The Luckiest One

printThe Luckiest One is a reminder to be humble and appreciate what you have. If our reality is a garden filled with amazing people, opportunities and ideas that overwhelm and wilt over time, we have to hold on to the ones that may be small now, but later will bloom into something wonderful.

Ariella Kaniel is a multimedia illustrator and printmaker based in Los Angeles. Although trained as a digital illustrator, she believes in the validity and identity of traditional methods. She had the pleasure of graduating from California State University Northridge where she studied illustration and printmaking as well as the honor of receiving the Susan Manders Fine Art Award (Spring 2020), the CSUN juried exhibition Dean’s Purchase Award (Spring 2019), the Arts Council Award (Spring 2019), and the Stan & Joann Benson Painting Award (Spring 2018). Ariella has enjoyed working with local musicians to create imagery for their brand identities in addition to showing at exhibits in California such as the MICA show at Brea Gallery, The Small Works Show at Page Against the Machine, and Arts Benicia's first virtual exhibit Get the Message: Words & Images.
